Figure i would rather pay an engineer here at MDS to figure up loads or even design on weld on hooks for buckets .
The current weld on hooks do not meet the standards by my client , they want someone to have a weld on hook for 3/8" chain so the chain and hook is equal or the hook is better .
I can find 6,600# weld on hooks but the chain is 7,700# i need 3/8" weld on hooks that are minimum of 7,700 # .
This for for a Government Agency so we would need to provide drawings & calculations .
