Props to Jeff and Kevin for giving excellent statements to the press, including [paraphrased] "if they can take the 2nd from us, they can take the 1st from you. You might want to re-examine how you treat coverage of these events."

I've read through the thread, but it's possible that I missed it. Has a YouTube video, by Ed or others, been posted of R&R and DL's presser as well as the comments made by their defense and civil suit attorneys, respectively?
Did any politicians also speak in support at the event? Other than the Governor of course ...

Great meeting so many Patriots. Loved how the MCP followed their own rules. 1 the Green Shirts blocking the sidewalk , nothing said to them . I had to cross the street to get pass them. The Anti Maglev people on the Mall without a permit again nothing said. Chief Wilson trying to be nice and chummy like nothing happened. Thought it was great that with so many out there they closed part of the street as directing traffic was causing issues!!!!!

Had a great time, stayed till the end.. Nice touch: Rack ending the gathering in prayer.. Also hope no one minded, but I overheard the female CP Lt saying, "wouldn't mind having one of our signs for their roll call". So on my next trip around I asked, "did I hear you wanted one of the signs for your roll call"; she said yes and I gave her one...

Wow. That's pretty cool. That could mean that some of the rank and file are not happy with what happened to R&R and DL, and recognize the disparity in how different groups in Annapolis are treated.
