That would be a slam dunk case based on Heller. They wouldn’t do it.
What they will do is mandate training and ID card renewal. And allow local police departments to delay and frustrate. Want a permit? Come to this office and ask for the sarge, Tuesday between 11 and 1. You go there and the sgt is in court, come back next week. Then when your app is in; they sit on it for 60-120 days and more. When you get your permits it’s backdated by 2 weeks.
This is how Jersey rolls. They have gotten very good at getting around court decisions such as heller. This is why justifiable need sticks. They grant permits to enough people to say they are granting permits.
Yep. The whole issue is rights are 'endowed by our creator' and not for permit nor grants. Right are given nor taken by the government. By Constitution rights are protected by the government. When will the progressives and rest of us really stand up to protect the Bill of Rights?
