    Colt Suspends Production of Rifles for the Civilian Market

    Dennis Veilleux, President and CEO of Colt Firearms, announce today the Colt is suspending the production of rifles for the civilian market, including the AR-15. Despite the questionable and thinly veiled claim that the move was a marketing decision was based upon an oversupply in the market, this is clearly a political move on the part of Colt. The value of your Colt AR-15 just went up.

    How does "suspending production" become "suspending sales"?
