Yes, great pics. Can almost see him transitioning from boy to man judging from the maturity/focus in his expressions.

Awesome that he's doing so well, and I can't believe how much hair he has! Every week or so they'd run us back through the barbers for another scalping, and I got my last one right before I graduated from Basic.

In retrospect, I wonder if our Drills didn't have some kind of a deal going with the barbers, because I don't remember seeing any other company as bald as they kept us! LOL! You gotta figure, 240 guys (we had 4 platoons of 60) going to barber at $5 apiece, that's $1200 rolling through a barbershop in short order - they spent about 60 seconds per head - it took almost more time to get in the chair and get the smock put on.

Good stuff - you've got to be smiling proud!

I know the feeling - my son isn't in the military, but he's doing something else that makes me very proud of him.
