    Rossi Revolver Safety Notice
by NRA Staff - Monday, September 17, 2018

Important news: If you own a revolver chambered in .38 Special and/or .357 Magnum manufactured by Rossi between the years 2005 and 2017, you should know that the company has issued a voluntary safety warning on these models. Rossi has learned that some .38 Special and .357 Magnum revolvers made during that time frame may have a condition that could cause, under certain circumstances, the revolver to fire if dropped.

    This safety warning covers .38 Special and .357 Magnum revolver models R351, R352, R461, R462, R851, R971 and R972 with serial numbers beginning with the letter Y, Z, or A through K.

And here is a link to the Rossi Safety Recall:

Just sharing this for everyone's safety.

    I wish they'd recall their model 589 .22 revolver.

It's not unsafe, it just groups like a shotgun. The safest place to be is point of aim. Because in hundreds of wasted rounds trying to find the solution, it literally NEVER hit the aim point. Not even once.
