    What failed on it?

Selector switch neutered to semi only.( despite of being a registered machinegun)

    Stripper clip guide installed incorrectly.

14 month wait on paperwork from the ATF.

Wassup with the ugly green stock?... in semi gloss foliage green.

Those things have been corrected and turned into a select fire m39 clone.

Agreed! If I had an M14 she'd be in a USGI stock.

I saw that stripper clip guide but didn't know it was actually possible to mess those up. Its pretty easy to remove/reinstall. Howd the pin even go in? Haha. Did you buy it from Mr Bean?

Estate sale. Auction. It was actually relatively cheap. I still have to re activate the happy switch.

I was offered a scar17 heavy as trade for one of my ebrs. Thought about it, but I couldn't do it.

I'll keep my battle rifle. I like the old school stuff

Good call. No way I'd trade an M14 for a SCAR. I've never been a fan of all the dinky plastic. Ive shot the 7.62 one and I felt the M1A was more manageable. Then again I shoot alot of Garand so I'm used to that style.
