    This looks like a nice little varmit round. Anyone have any experience with it?

    I shoot a handgun in .221 and it's more accurate and effective than a Hornet. That's about it though, IMHO, and with the .223s versatility, availability and popularity, there's really no benefit to downsizing a half-jump like this.

    It is a quantum leap over a 22 magnum in preformance (noise and cost). I really is between the 22 hornet and the 223.

    I saw a Remington XP-100 chambered in this a while ago. I always thought it was sort of the thing I wouldn't be into... doesn't really seem to be that special.

    That being said I bought some .221 FB brass to size up to .300-221, but ended up just buying brass made from .223 (which is stronger anyway).
