From what I've gathered the "RSO's" are simply volunteers, looking for confirmation on that.

How does one become a volunteer?

What actual authority do they have/granted?

Is there a no-shit rules list for elk neck range, specifically relating to pistol range?

Thanks all, shot there for the first time ever and had a pretty decent time.

The rules for ENSF are posted at each range. They are also on the range pass application.

The RSOs are all volunteers and are only there on the weekends. If you are at the range on the weekend, ask the RSO for a volunteer application.

The violation that seems to come up the most is the target height requirement: the center of the target must be 54" from the ground.

RSO's at Elk Neck are volunteers, Mike is right suggesting you check with one of the RSO;s for an application. They are always looking for help.
