    And I was so proud of myself for mounting a scope on my new rifle and zeroing it with two shots: one shot to the target and one to confirm.

    Granted it was a .22 but the the basic technique works with heavier rifles and a 3-5 shot group.

    Depending on gun and ammo, the drop from 50 to 100 is approx 6 inches from my notes on my 22 using CCI SV.
    So if it is 1 click per 1/4" @ 100, that is 24 clicks of UP That should keep you on paper.

    I moved mine up 30 clicks and with one adjustment shot I was dead on target with Blazer ammo. It really jumped when firing rapid fire.
    I used an old furring strip and mounted a 4 inch steel plate.
    I set the target on the left hand side of the stand right next to my 2X4 steel plate. Now I can shoot rimfire and center fire targets at one sitting.
