For inside the home, I prefer my .38 snub nosed with +P JHP rounds. In close quarters, pistols allow for easier navigation and are very effective.

OP no disrespect meant for your fine rifle. I was just being a smart ass.

I am using a 300B/O AR pistol with hunting rounds for my home defense gun. I just want to build some concealed wall locker for it in my bedroom.

    Where they send me.
Is that a Timber Wolf? Really wanted one of those back when they were out.
If not, who made it please?

.357 is one of my favorite rounds. Excellent performance for HD or carry.

Barnes 110gr? If so, same exact setup here.

I have always liked the concept of the Timberwolf. But even when they were in production, the prices were ridiculous. Back when .357 leveractions were going for $200-250, they were $800 .

Adjusted for inflation, that one in the link is better deal than back in the day. But still had to justify in terms of absolute $$ compared to other options.

But if we disregard $ issues, then yes, good option.

To the original poster...great looking rig! As a relatively new shooter, I wasn't familiar with these. My Henry Big Boy in 357 is one of my go-to home defense guns. From all that I've read, the longer rifle barrel turns an already impressive 357 round into a monster....most data showing 2000 fps or higher out of the longer barrel.
