Single minded mentality. Police taking a walk through don’t even interact with the students. And again, another case of “your solutions no good, just ban guns”. I have yet to hear any suggested remedies except “ban guns”. The herd mentality.

Well, when the problem is defined by the term "gun violence", that becomes the obvious, if not only, solution. But we know the real issue is criminal violence, regardless of the tool used.

You don't hear people wanting to ban all alcohol do you? We'll get rid of all alcohol related deaths to include DUIs. Someone drunk kills someone with their car...do you hear outrage to ban cars or alcohol? No, even though there are more deaths caused this way in one year than ALL school shootings combined. You do hear about solutions such as treatment and therapy for the abusers. Not in this case. All you hear is ban guns and forget about treatment for the mentally ill. And I really feel it is not gun violence but violence by gun. None of my guns are violent, but they can be.

No disagreement here. But from an IO campaign perspective (which is what the anti's are doing to us), alcohol problems are called "alcohol abuse". That drives an implied meme that there's a proper use for alcohol, and problems arise from those who misuse it. But "Gun Violence" doesn't leave room for an implicit message that a non-violent (as socially positive) use for guns exists.

As we saw at Great Mills a few days ago, there certainly is a positive use for guns in stopping violent criminals. But there's no room for that story when the term "gun violence" is thrown around. We can't truly prevail in this fight until that term is discredited and useless to the antis.

And please don't get me started on that worthless term "common sense".

Just watched Tucker shut down a black female rep from Georgia who refused to answer his question about a bill she signed having the Georgia police “seize” semiautomatic weapons from legal gun owners. He kept asking her “aren’t you afraid that people will get killed attempting this and who will do the seizing?” All she kept wanting to say was “if you want an assault rifle join the military”, he then asked “these rifles only cause a small percentage of deaths, a majority are done with pistols, why don’t you want to ban them?” She kept rattling “ban the assault rifles that are killing our children”. I kept waiting for him to say to her “it’s children killing children using guns, fix that!”

She deserves credit for sticking to the talking points she'd been indoctrinated with. Some of them are so good you'd swear they'd been through counter-interrogation training.

A “Good Guy with a Gun” May have forced the issue on actually making our schools safe

Montgomery County Police Chief Tom Manger disagrees -
“The dumbest idea I’ve heard in my 40 years of being a police officer is arming teachers,” Manger said to applause, adding, “More guns do not make us more safe.”

Seems Chief Manger is a "true believer."
Manger said that he’s been fighting gun violence for 40 years in his job, and that he supports student-led efforts to bring about more gun control.

Couldn't find the audio of Chief Manger's statements (I would like to hear the whole thing without MSM "edits") and came across this statement from Manger from 2017 -
"You know, one of the things when you look at the kinds of homicides we have in Montgomery County, they're typically, you know, either gang-related, drug-related, or domestic. That's probably 99% of the homicides we have." (starts at about 3:00 below)
