There are several cautionary notes here in several posts. Granted. If we did something lilke this it would go well past showing up with signs. It would be guerrilla warfare. Moving from checkers to chess. By intermixing with the Motley Moms and visiting their favorite legislators, with our "modulations" blunting their singular message we could well (1) provoke them to short circut and lash out, (2) leave legislators scratching their heads, and (3) spin the Motley Moms around by suggesting that we should "collaborate" on drafting legislation.

This would take them entirely outside their experience, both parties. When forced outside their experience the likelihood of their reacting in ways that play into our hands goes up substantialy. This is moving well past demonstrations and into the area of power playing. Let the games begin!!

One down side will be that the MSM will add our numbers to theirs, thus making it look like they can organize and have more support.

Quite so, and then when we DON'T show up for their next confab it will leave them looking like an even bigger flop.

    And here's a thought:
Why not flip the message as well - Draft a law to provide an Expedited W&C to domestic abuse victims.

That would be "fair" and potentially expand our self defense base. And it follows the Moms' logic to a different conclusion. Profoundly confusing them would be a side benefit.

Sounds like a great opportunity to throw in some “blame Frosh” signs and speak from a united front to hold the judiciary system accountable for the revolving door they have created. Honestly, it will get more MSM attention if the MOMs are there.

This is more like it. We don't need to show up looking like us. We show up looking like them, but bend the message--to them and to the elected prostitutes--which should muddle the message of the former and totally confuse the latter. It's guerrilla warfare, not Picket's charge.

Flip their message. Yes, now that would be great. They would hate it but how could they possibly argue against it without looking crazier than they are.

Yep. Adding automatic wear and carry for domestic violence victims would be hysterical.

A lot of great ideas. But without an organized force to force the issue this is not a lot more than an exercise in group digital masterbation. Who's ready to (1) get involved in planning, (2) show up, and (3) RECRUIT OTHERS TO SHOW UP?

They are screaming at the sky kind of people.
They should be protesting and talking to the DA offices and Judges to prosecute already existing laws.

So, planning a stealth operation on an open forum that the opponents are known to monitor.

    OK...

...which is why those committed to working on something like this need to take it offline--and communicate directly--like we used to do in the old days. You know, before anonymous online forums.

Seriously??? Lobbying the Maryland GA to kill the 2nd Amendment is akin to lobbying Nazis to kill Jews.

    Wrong.

The focus is on Domestic violence criminals.

Even before there was a 2nd Amendment it was Common Law that established that criminals were banned from possessing arms in the public square.

I will coordinate with Hillbilly Grandpa on a vetted PM list to get started with a MOMS DEMAND project offline.

We can lock in messaging to confound them and the legislators who support them, including, literally, a wardrobe call, etc etc.

Folks can paint up their own signs or attend a sign painting hangout with the time and place only distributed by PM.

We can also compare notes on the upcoming MAN UP MONDAYS, where we invite folks to come early to eat as a group.

We will also look to stocking more Patriot Picket patches, which are easy to iron on to your favorite jacket or hat.

We have to muster up this year because if not, when?
