I rolled out of Shydas yesterday with a 8lb jug of 800x on sale for $109 and I was determined to try and figure out an inexpensive way to reliably meter this in 357sig.

I had an “ah-hah” moment last night that woke me up, but a few minutes on the interwebs told me it’s an old idea.

So while the interwebs are filled with pics of marital aids strapped to the sides of powder hoppers, I put a tumbler motor with a bad bearing on mine.

It cut the metering variance down by 50% and high to low swings down from 12% to 3%. I want to believe that my bad motor would improve the numbers even more with a more consistent vibration

So I’m gonna work on a more reliable vibratory setup from other parts around the shop.
