Jealous said he wants the state to take over health care, which will blow up the budget about 30 billion. A 50% increase in taxes, at least. $20k for the average family.

There will be no run on guns because no one will have the money. Those that do will be spending it on moving expenses.

I'm looking forward to when my wife retires. At that point we'll leave Occupied Territory and head for Free America.

Will there ever be talk of giving gun rights back to this state? I don't think the FSA’13 has done anything to save lives getting murdered in bmore

Ain't got nothing to do with saving lives. It's about the ultimate control of the public at large. There is movement to bring into a socialistic society. The commies still trying to win. Karl Marx would be happy at the progress they have done, it's up to us to push back as much as we can. Chris

That's the first bit of legislation the MGA will take up next session.

That's if they don't call an emergency session to deal with it before then.

    Be patient.

We'll be rolling in pencil barrels in no time.

As I always say buy modestly and frequently, wouldn't hurt to have a couple other lowers but I wouldn't go out of my way or pay excessive funds. Timing may make sense for some insurance buying. In my case I have more AR parts laying around than I probably will ever get around to building. So easy to store for future use when they are not assembled.

I'd buy a few more lowers, maybe. Doubt I'd go overboard; at a certain point, you've got what you need and it's just a matter of more uppers. I'd be more likely to start thinking about buying the last few interesting rifles I don't own - ARX-100, CETME-LV, SU-16D9, etc. Definitely would disincentivize me to buy bolt guns and pumps, that's for sure.

    winner winner chicken dinner

the atf has already begun this with the shtf50 uppers so it will just be a tiny baby step for them to do all uppers and the mga and whoever is marylands governor will throw in some bs about not grandfathering lowers that aren't built now and no guns with two serial numbers and then we can wait for another court case

Who needs an AR anyways? We fought an English king off with muskets, so why do we need anything more modern?

No, the British had muskets and we had rifles. Made a difference more than once. Good thing for the general public to outgun the army. Maybe it should be in writing somewhere.

THIS response above needs to be disseminated far and wide, and on a continual basis. Only then may it sink in for those whom haven’t been taught such.

Target audience: Everyone born after after the eighties I would wager....

Well damn, I learned something today just from making a sarcastic comment. I’ll use this snippet of info in my future interactions with the uninformed.

How many people, of any age, would know what the difference is between a musket and a rifle? How many 60 year olds would know the difference. Heck, I would assume the difference is rifling versus no rifling, but that is an assumption and I am decently versed in "firearm".

My belief is that the public should be allowed to own tanks and fighter jets. Maybe an aircraft carrier or two also.
