    Apparently they are early this year as well. Got a shot at one living under the barns today, it's now not tearing up ground around the foundations anymore. It was covered with mange on the back half so I guess I did it a favor.

    Haven't seen them yet , I usually get some trying to build up under the shed. Doesn't work out too well for them with Jack Russell Terriers. Reminds me one time I had to leave for a business trip, dogs had pulled one out and killed it, left it to rot in the sun. I get a call from the wife, pissed that I didn't take care of it before the trip. Apparently, the trio of jacks decided it smelled really good, and covered themselves repeated rolling. The wife apparently didn't have the same appreciation for 'Eau de Groundhog' . Several bathes later, you could still smell it. lol

    Saw my first one two days ago coming out of a patch of woods heading toward my house. Of course he ran off when I walked outside but it's time for me to put up a few cameras and get busy.
