    This thread will be used for discussion of the meeting of the Handgun Permit Review Board(HPRB) on December 2, 2019.

    DPSCS website link below. This link will be updated to reflect a change of meeting status or possible change of venue. Future meeting dates, time, and the location of the meeting is posted on the DPSCS HPRB website.

    As of July 8th, 2019 the Handgun Permit Review Board meets at The Fifth Regiment Armory, 219 29th Division Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. Meetings are scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm.

    From what I've read, no point.

    MD has made it clear that citizen involvement is only acceptable when it is congruent with the legislative supermajority opinion.

    Not much to report, other than "by majority vote, MSP prevails" although it seems about half the hearings are FTAs (Failure To Appear) so I guess word is starting to get out.

    Bloomberg seems to want more for his money, the last couple of meetings, in addition to the (usually two) ubiquitous Marylanders to Prevent Guns stenographers there has also been one of the Moms on Demand (one time even wearing the official red uniform shirt.) Usually only a couple of "upstanding citizen" observers.
