For those of you in Harford County, we have lost a place to shoot. The Gunpowder indoor range shut down on 8 May. The owners said that the lease prices were going up and business had not picked up, so they had to shut down.

The place had seen better days, but it is a shame to lose a place to shoot.

If they cleaned up the place and put more money out, they would of had more business. They could of made it better I guess. Sorry to hear anyway

I have to agree that they could have done a lot more with the place and made some bad business decisions. I remember asking once if any free range time could be available if a bought a Glock 19 (for $550) from them and got a nasty "no" in response. Not a great way to drum up business.

It is a shame though. Having to haul to Timonium to shoot is a drag. Maybe someone else will see how rapidly this area has expanded and open a new range.....
