Anyone know if the XM855F is usable at indoor ranges like Freestate? It says brass cased but steel core in the description? Looking for 556 rounds for indoor range use preferably 62gr.

Nevermind, did a little searching and xm855 is not what I need. XM193 is usually cheaper, and at least in my experience, slightly more accurate. M193 is a standard lead bullet with a full-metal jacket. M855 is a lead bullet with a steel penetrator insert and a metal jacket.

That said, is the XM193 good to go for indoor range use?

thanks! bought some 9mm fed 147g fp. price was a little high but with the $20 off and free ship, $12/box which is pretty good.

I'm not aware of anywhere that the xm193 is prohibited. At most places and certainly most if not all competitions, anything where a magnet will attract the bullet (bullet only, not talking about the case) that is not allowed.

    ^^Yes you can re-use the 4frosty20 coupon.

Also, try RMN49 for $10-off $49 purchase with free shipping. Not sure it works on ammo.

ok I re-used twice each for 7 boxes of fed 9mm fmj fp, and then 4 boxes of win 100rd 9mm 115 value packs, that math works out real well for me! my 2gun/3gun/idpa handgun and my open gun will have food for a while now!
