    Just saw on The Firearm blog the new glock 45 9x19mm, black in color. Hopefully appear on the handgun roster sometime this year.:party29:

    I'm not sure what role these will fill. The grip is the harder part of the gun to conceal and for police carry the shorter slide isn't really idea for anything.

    I'm sure it will sell because...Glock...but it isn't idea for a CCW gun and it's not idea for a duty gun. Odd fitment.

    Appendix carry I guess. They should've made this MOS standard for the comp/MRDO trend.

    Because this design isn't intended for concealed carry. The balance of the gun with the shorter slide and longer grip feels nice.

    I'm happy to see them release this design in black. Also good move on their part making the design work with the standard 17 round mags, I always thought it was dumb they didnt work with the 19x.

    Since there is already a 19X they should have called this the 19KY and could have worked in a corporate sponsor.
