I'm not sure what role these will fill. The grip is the harder part of the gun to conceal and for police carry the shorter slide isn't really idea for anything.
I'm sure it will sell because...Glock...but it isn't idea for a CCW gun and it's not idea for a duty gun. Odd fitment.

Because this design isn't intended for concealed carry. The balance of the gun with the shorter slide and longer grip feels nice.
I'm happy to see them release this design in black. Also good move on their part making the design work with the standard 17 round mags, I always thought it was dumb they didnt work with the 19x.
Exactly. Glock doesn't want to give you everything at once. Some might go into anaphylactic shock.

The M17 has already won the military contract, if Glock couldn't beat it during the trial they sure aren't going to switch to them.

Black, front serrations, uses standard 17 round mags, no cutout like the rest of the gen 5s. Has anyone said what sight or sight options it comes with?

.32 ACP. Same caliber as the Glock 7, it's a porcelain gun that doesn't show up .....
