    Sorry I searched but couldn’t find a clear answer.

    I have an SBR that I need to ship to an out of state FFL / Gunsmith. Is there anything special I need to do prior to shipping it?

    I would call the ATF and ask about sending it for repairs if you need to do the transport form. Since you are sending it in for repair, I would think not, but hey, it is the ATF.

    I wonder how long a f5 would take. Also, correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't the F5 transfer ownership as well? Not sure I would do that if it was not required.
