    That’s a nice group of M39s!

Those specific variations are worth a chunk of change these days. Thanks for the pics!

Been a lot of years since i looked at the tang, but i am pretty sure the Tikka, with the imperial eagle intact, is built on an antique receiver.

In 20 years, you'll look back on now, and reminisce about actually being able to buy them, and how cheap they were. How easy it was to buy ammo too.

I believe you are spot on. I bought these 5 Finn rifles (incl a 1945 Sako, not shown) 10-13 years ago. Paid in the $500s for the antique Tikka; the rest in the $200-300 range. And remember reading how a decade before these were generally available for $100-150, and thinking I missed the boat. I also bought 4 mod 44s (one dated 1943) and 1 mod 38 (in a 38 stock) from SOG and others in the $90-$120 range and thinking not so much earlier they were $50/per. The numerous SKS rifles? Albanian, Russian, etc. the M1 carbines at under $500. Its all relative. Nevertheless, do you, for example, decline to but Amazon stock with a $4000 target price when its at $3300 because you could have bought it in ‘95 for $50? Ammo? Walk with me down memory lane. $200 for 800 rds 7.62x54R; $300 (AIM) for white box, 980 rds French 7,5...bought it, shot 30 rds put it away. Should have been here yesterday.
