I've noticed that the 45acp, 308 and 30-06 can all use the same shell plate and locator pins.

Is there a caliber conversion kit that works for the 30 carbine? I'm not sure I'm currently reloading enough to warrant $50 on a conversion plate dedicated to that caliber.

There is a 30 carbine specific caliber conversion kit (https://www.dillonprecision.com/rl-550-caliber-conversion-kit_8_2_23598.html; item # 20131)

If you need all the parts of the conversion kit {locator pins, shell plate, powder funnel} for a new caliber, you are better of buying the complete conversion kit.

If you already have some of the parts, you can buy just the ones you need from dillon. This makes setting up for the new caliber a bit cheaper.

I spoke w/ Dillon support and they apparently share the 32 something or rather but i don't shoot 32 so.. i'll just get the entire 30 carbine kit.

This is an only calculator that you tell it what machine and what calibers you have conversion kits for, and it shows you what is needed to add any given caliber.

For the 650, a lot of shell plates and locator buttons are usable for many calibers. And the case feeder parts are similar.
