Only 18 posts?

"Nov 05 2019 Motion to extend the time to file a response is granted and the time is extended to and including December 18, 2019."

So wouldn’t expect anything until Dec 18 at 11:59 pm

With the exception of notations when the state actually files its response, this will be a very slow process. There will not be routine updates on any kind of schedule that comes to mind. Those interested can follow the SCOTUS docket link (https://www.supremecourt.gov/search....ic/19-423.html). Again, this will be a slow process.

It's just incredible how people leave a state because of high taxes and regulation and then flee somewhere else only to turn around and vote for the same policies again.

Well, I guess it’s “I’m leaving...you can’t get away from it” posts until then. Carry on.

With this case almost certainly going dark after the first conference, pending resolution of NYSRPA v NYC.

News...

NRA files WITH the Maryland gun owners in appeal to SCOTUS.

The NRA filed a statement that says (in part)
...federal appeals courts are divided on whether states can require a G&S for possessing a HG outside of the home. The time has come for the SCOTUS to definitely answer whether the 2A protects the right of the law abiding responsible citizen to carry a HG for SD outside of the home... and end the contemptuous disregard shown by a handful of courts to the SCOTUS teachings.

Malpasso and MSRPA V. Pallozzi, MSP Superintendent... 19-423
