Approx 500k 320s were sold to civilians and PDs with the thick trigger and design defect that allows AD if dropped. Several PDs have been shot with their own guns. The army guns were delivered remedied of this defect. A reporter found that 25%+ of guns listed for sale, new and used, had not been returned for Sig’s fix. Several suits are underway for serious injuries caused by AD.

After sig was told about the problem in 4/17 it offered fixes for army contract guns. These fixes were not offered to civilialns/PDs until august, 5 mos latter. And, not subject to a recall. If the story is a repeat, it is worth the notice to any who has one and is not sure if it has the revisied design feature.

"Upgrade" took less then 10 days for both P-320s I have, that includes travel time. If you got one that has not been upgraded Do It. If nothing else it makes the weapon more sellable to the person who can't hold on to their weapon. Chris
