Thinking of building another one for my .22LR upper that I have laying around.

Who has the best price around Prince George area?

    Thanks

I would caution you to check reviews on budget receivers before purchasing. Budget receivers can be a great value and I have some that are, but some may not be within specs. I have one that has one wall that is too thin and allows the trigger and hammer pins to walk to the left creating reset problems. The only fix that worked was to spend additional money on anti-rotate pins.

I got one there a couple moths ago. I want to say it was $114 + $10 MD State Police fee.

New limited edition one from Palmetto. Might have to get this one, especially at that price!

Not in PG, but check with Gymratz. I got Anderson lower a few months ago $53 OTD. Built AR pistol on it , no issue of any type. Decided to go with either Carbine or Rifle, now. Tested it out with PSA Hbar mid- length, and WW Hbar rifle upper - again no issue but still haven't decided on configuration I want. This lower now has almost 400 rds through with zero issue , all Lower parts and stock went in perfectly.

there was talk about getting an IP to buy a bunch of the Virginia lowers and then do reasonable transfer prices, but haven't heard that anyone stepped up.

i bought one from palmetto, shipped to a local ffl. looks decent, haven't put it together yet though.

Can't go wrong with Spike's. PSA, not so much. Everyone sweats PSA down south. Myopia.

    YMMV

You usually can get a good deal on an Anderson lower; oh wait!

Ok, bad joke. I agree with outrider Spikes has a nice fit and finish. So does Aero Precision.

Nothing wrong with a budget lower as long as its spec, especially for a dedicated 22... I've seen PSA as low as $40, but have no experience with them. That said, my current favorite is Aero, and I've had no issues with RRA or my pre clinton ban eagle arms lower.

Was just thinking about this, I shall getting one of those from local. It would save time/transfer fee which will end up the same as I buy it.

Will hit up 2A to see what they have tomorrow,

    Thanks guys,

    Burke
