I would think this goes against the 1 pull of the trigger/1 shot mandate by the BATF. I think this is a good way to have the Men in Black come to visit your house about 2:00am. No thank you!

They have an ATF letter. I believe they define semiautomatic as one shot per trigger operation or something like that. Pulling is an operation, releasing is an operation.

Again, I'm not saying they are illegal now, but I can see a letter being written and the next thing you know, Franklin Armory is going to be forced to give the BATF the names and addresses of the folks that bought this trigger.

If the BATF can change it's mind on the Sig Brace, I can't see how this trigger stands up to the BATF scrutiny.

Again, this is just my personal opinion.

If BATFE decides to confiscate. Then I'll send them the trigger. No need for swat teams and raids.

Its not the first time a took a chance at something.

If I ever buy one, I will IMMEDIATELY sell it to a total stranger.

Yeah, but when it quacks like a duck and swims like a duck, it's usually a duck. I can't see how they got an affirmative response from the BATF in the beginning, much less after they're asked for a review.

How do you fire a single round with this trigger while in this mode? If it's not possible to fire a single round in this mode, then this is a NFA addition to the firearm. Since it has it's own position other than semi auto, and that position fires more than one round at a time, it's an NFA item. Again, just my personal opinion.

But it's design and purpose is clear cut. Unlike the Sig Brace which is only a supposed :nono: when used as a stock, rather than its intended purpose as a forearm brace.

The atf has already said this trigger is okay. There is no logical way for them to go back on their word. How many different ways can you use this trigger other than as it has already been explained.

    That's just my personal opinion.

You hold the trigger in, drop the mag, and pull your charging handle.

I looks nifty. I poked around the interwebs and it looks like you should make sure to grease that pin circled in red. If not, it'll increase pull weight when it cams.

I have seen some trap shooters use a release trigger because of flinching. Most I have seen are release/pull or double release triggers but I imagine there are pull/release triggers also.
So, this is really nothing new?

Im wondering if they really drop in without mods.

The only flaw seems to be the ability to outrun the carrier.

Ill have one soon, but I wont buy the first run, Im not willing to be a guinea pig.
