I believe it was the County deciding to regulate United as, basically, a pawn shop. Yes, just another d!ck move by the gummint to make business harder for them.

One more reason I keep giving United more business whenever I can!

Despite them having to deal with this local ordinance, one has to commend United on how much visibility they give their consignment sales on MDS. They really go above and beyond.

Thanks for the compliments.

The 21 day wait is because Montgomery county uses the same system as pawn shops. They want 21 days to do a lost/stolen trace. It has actually allowed us to catch a couple of bad guys.

I have to submit an online form with details about the gun and customer. I also have to mail them a different form. Its a process but we deal with it.

They had a nice Savage Mk II that went on sale today. I was second name on it,but lost out to first guy. Oh well, I ordered the model I really wanted and United will handle the transfer. Win-win.
