I’ve been wanting to purchase a Ruger handgun for a while now, but the price on the American is too good to pass up. $250, comes with 2 10-round magazines and 3 different grip modules.

Don't know if its great but if you have an HQL its cheap enough to make it worth buying. Worst case you end up with a good target pistol

Generally I would go Sig 2022 or Glock for a poly frame first but at that price hard to walk away from.

I just got the same pistol with 17 rd. mags. Luv it great shooter. Very happy with it. Get it!

Can't beat that price.

I bought one a while back from JLowes.
It's a little heavy, weighty feeling, but is super accurate.

I don't like it as much as my VP9, or my self built Poly80, but like it more than the Glock G17 and G19.
