I have always shot primitive and traditional and this was something I always did as you could see the arrow in flight and where it hit the deer better. Before anyone looses their crap, THIS IS ONLY A TEST, I am not hunting with these as they have not been tested in and out. If used it would be next year after testing through the year and shooting with broad head too.

Now mind you, my broad heads shoot lower and righter than my field points. I have this sighted for my G5 Montechs. It shoots high and left, but its hard holding an crossbow and aiming it through and iPhone filming in Slo-mo while shooting. I had to shoot left handed and couldn't grip the bow correctly. It only took me 4 takes to get this video. :)

    Thoughts?

I didn't see a box to embed it.

The whole youtube code is "sK-FWRUBIRM" - include the two letters and dash.

    what is marabou??

It's a fether from the ugliest stork on Earth. The fethers are used in fly tying and Rupaul's boas.

Looks like Rob has made "flu flu" bolts using Marabou feathers.

OP, no negative thoughts from me. More primitive projectiles from a modern platform perhaps an oxymoron, but then so am I. :)

I don't "See" the bolt hit the deer. They fly so fast I would love to see it hit the chest to know exactly where I hit it. This isn't a Flu-flu and slows it very little, if any.
