I am partially doing this because I am curious if any particular barracks are problematic. For me, I've done this at the Jessup and Annapolis barracks and had zero problems.

My dad and I have done numerous transfers at Waterloo (Jessup) and no issues.

you don't need HQL for every transactions as there are exceptions, you should list exceptions (C&R, Retired Military etc) in post #1

Has anybody received a clear answer on the whole daylight thing? Is it barracks specific?

The last firearm by me, that was done through MSP Frederick, was transferred with no issues and the trooper was helpful and great to deal with.

As for the hours issue. When I called MSP Frederick and asked, they said they were able to do transfers 24/7. Bear in mind this was from 3 years ago, when I called.

Have done several transfers at Golden Ring...Once before the electronic 77R started, the Tropper actually filled out all of the paperwork himself...on FOUR firearms, lol. Me & the Buyer just looked at each other and shrugged...and waited for him to finish...:D

    Never a problem there.

well, once, but it 100% was NOT an MSP problem...

the issue I had there was that The Gun Shop sold me a stolen handgun... :sad20:

I've done transfers at Bel Air and Glen Burnie (near BWI) Both were smooth and the troopers were knowledgable, professional and polite.

done way to many times... all been pretty good experiences. even better now that buyer fills everything out before hand and you walk in with it all ready to go.. a lot faster...
