Interesting Article

This article does not explain why this house was raided? It does imply that this guy had more guns and ammo than a Columbian drug cartel. I could see this happening in Maryland

What is an unlicensed firearm?
Does Massachusetts have some sort of registration scheme?
His ammo/gun ratio is low.

MA does have a registration scheme, and so does, ahem, the Federal Govt for "homemade silencers"

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said, "You see the kind of the firepower that was contained in that house, the number of rounds of ammunition -- we have a least one sawed off shotgun, we have an AR15, an enormous amount of firepower -- in a house, in a neighborhood where you would assume neighbors were unaware this was stockpiled in that house."
Another snowflake that if she has ever been anywhere out in the boonies (probably not), would absolutely sh!t a brick if she knew how many guns the people living there have. Hell, I know of about 100 guns between just a handful of neighbors here in Mt Airy! People like this make me laugh at their ignorance...and then cry because she's in a position of power.

They have the equivalent of a Maryland HQL except you need it for all firearms and ammo purchases

The video stated that he was being arrested on an outstanding assault warrant and was carrying when he was arrested at his home. It kind of snowballed from there. I can't speak to the number of suppressors, but I am sure that for a number of people here, 47 guns and 35,000 rounds of ammo is considered "the bedroom closet."

The video also mentions that prosecutors said that the weapons had been modified "for violent and insidious purposes." I wonder what that could be?
