Very short video (8 seconds). The point of the report was to show the "damage that can be done with military assault rifles". I didn't see this posted anywhere, but it showed up in my faceache feed this morning.

People will believe this, and they will vote.

"What? Are you saying that's NOT a Military Grade AR 15 Assault Rifle Machine Gun Weapon?
It's only an ordinary 12 gauge pump shotgun?
But LOOK what it does to that poor watermelon! No one needs something that powerful to hunt ducks!

All the more reason to BAN it! Ban pump action shotguns!"

("They're already on the list... right here, see? Number 5.")

It is NOT fake. When interviewed shortly after the video was taken, the shotgun indicated it's preference to be identified as an AR-15. It then proceeded (on its own accord) to blow the head off the interviewing reporter (as AR-15s are wont to do on occasion).

    YOU need to respect that.

With apples possibly being bananas, how do we know that was really a watermelon?

Or are you saying the watermelon self identified as a reporter's head?

That looks a lot like the AR15 used at the Navy Yard shooting.

Wow, already time for another bunch of viral meme's making fun of News folk trying to demonize guns? was still enjoying potential alternatives to a potential chainsaw bayonet that may or may not have been used in a mass homicide.
