Had a big problem with feral cats a few years ago, idiots in the apartements down the street put food out, and let them breed constantly. Most of the town trapped and shot any cats they could find, threw the carcasses over the apartment's fence. Took a few months but the problem went away. IMO soon as your "pet" leaves your yard outside of your control, it's fair game

    Yep.

I've heard that Baltimore City and Washington DC are still infested with rats. I don't know how many feral cats it would take but City Hall and Capitol Hill could both use a few thousand. I'm just putting it out there for consideration. ; )

I vote for mountain lions over house cats

Only once with dogs. .222 Remington. They were running my Hereford Calf Steers. Warning?Miss'ed shots. Dogs ran off. Call it what you will! If I had killed the dogs I'd have been OK with it.

Maybe lead them a little more next time.

I'm not much into killing something I don't plan on eating, but I make an exception for destructive, invasive species. As stated previously, feral/outdoor "house cats" are the most destructive invasive species in North America.
I am likely the biggest tree hugger on MDS. As far as feral/outdoor cats go- Kill them all, but do it humanely.

You must be a lawyer. Only asking questions that you already know the answer to.
    ;)

5 Star Sheriff,s Badge- Dept. Blacked out:sad20:.and.your accusing me of "lawyer tatics"?

Each of the two questions I asked were directed by name to the person/s that asked the question.

The reason for doing that is to prevent (hopefully) superfluous folks such as resymorejr from joining into an otherwise cogent conversation.

    No I'm not a lawyer
