So I need to sight in a shotgun, but there seems to be no easy way to do that here in AA county. I'm not looking to join a club because I don't get the range time to justify spending money, especially when it's not close to my house.
Anybody know a public range in the area where I can simply go and shoot a few rounds to sight this thing in?

Maryland Small Arms range let's you use shotguns on their 50 yard range. It's not Anne Arundel but it isn't too far away. It's $20 for unlimited time per day.

What are you trying to pattern the gun for: waterfowl, turkey, deer? If it is a slug gun for deer that will be different than if you're trying to pattern your shot for birds (you may want a target sled vs targets at 50, 75, and 100 yards). Some ranges don't have patterning boards (sleds) for shotguns.
