Happened to stop by White Marsh fire station to get a tree( all sold out) but did check out their train garden. Got to say anyone in the area needs to stop in and check it out.
Very nice setup and details were great.
Thought I’d post this since I always loved train gardens when younger

The one on Wise Avenue in Dundalk has a reputation for traditionally being one of the best around. And worth the drive to “near” the city, even for you metrophobes.

The one at the Ellicott City station is very good.

Agree. In prior years, they have also had a 100% Lego city.

The HoCo fire station on 103 has had a phenomenal layout as well.

Homestead Gardens has a larger-scale display that could be nice for little kids.

Does anyone know if the older couple still does the setups in the old Friendly's at Marley Station?

The Jacksonville senior center, on Sweet Air road, has a train garden set up now. Also the Kenilworth mall has a big one set up where the fountains are on the lower level.

Station 45 in Baltimore city (mt. Washington) has a nice one inside the station. It fills up a bay where a truck should be. They have stuff for the kids like crayons and a paper where kids have to find hidden things in the train garden.

They used to have one in the greenhouse at Brookside Gardens.

It's running this year also. Free admission until dark. Runs through Dec 31.

The one I always like is at Perryville train station, It is still there but never seen it open. The entire switching area in miniature very cool.
