We should get an MDS Field Day team together.

AE7Q says that K3MDS is available for a club call sign. Just sayin’

K3MDS sounds like a great idea, until the one poor soul who is the registered license holder gets mega-DOXXED for all of our sins…..

LOL, I'm jammed this year, between my daughter being in from out of town and commitments to our club, but next year I could be involved.

    Field Day THIS WEEKEND!!

Operations start at 2pm local time Saturday afternoon and run continuously until 2pm local time Sunday afternoon.

If you have ANY interest in learning more about Amateur (ham) Radio, please try to visit one of the clubs operating this weekend.

Visitors are welcomed and you can observe operations and listen in. If conditions are right and a radio is available, you may also be able to try operating under the guidance of a licensed control operator.

Here is a guide to local club setups, just zoom the map to your vicinity:
    https://www.arrl.org/field-day-locator

Our club (MMARC) is operating in Pasadena, at Downs Park in the 'Youth Camping Area'. If you think you may be able to visit, but after normal park hours, contact me or one of the other club members for further info.

The AARC is operating on Queen Annes Bridge Road in Davidsonville, but they don't show up on the map. https://w3vpr.org/

ETA: I stopped in at the Holly Net (morning net run by AARC on their repeater(s)) this morning and let them know their club wasn't listed and they said they would get it on there.

Is there anything like this around Harford or Cecil county?

The Carroll County Amateur Radio Club is also offering a free technician course in July.

Does anyone know of a drone operator that can help me relocate a wire antenna?

The tree is some 50' tall and there aren't any powerlines around it.

Ok, now i'm stuck. I have my general but i don't have the spare money to buy an HF setup. I currently only have two baofengs (UV-5R and GT-5R). So i'll be starting from scratch. I would sell a firearm but the ones that could fund this are not sellable in this state.
