Damn that's light. Nice job
Really not a huge fan of the rattle-y mil-style stock, so it might get replaced by an MFT Minimalist or similar. It should still be under 5lbs by the time I mount a Romeo4M optic on it.

You can get an AR lower than that, but you're spending thousands of bucks at that point. This one was five hundred plus a tax stamp.

An LWRC compact stock would fit well on that.

Yeah, I agree. I will happily spend thousands on an AR to get quality. I don’t know that I would spend the same for weight savings.

    Two Stamps Just Came In

I normally don't post pics of my guns. BUT since I had to send my CLEO a letter all about it, I guess it's not much of a secret.

Here is my 5.56 (top) and 300 Black 10.5" SBR's. Booyah!

    BCM Kino Build

The third stamp came in. This is a favorite of mine; a 12.5" barrel Kino build. Mid-length front sight with a carbine length gas block under the hand guards. OD Green Aero lower. OD green furniture. Booyah!

    Good to have options...

It all comes together & good to have options:
    Ruger Ranch in 7.62x39 and Primary Arms 1-6x24 w/ 7.62x39/300blk ACSS reticle = 36.25" 7lb 7oz
    Option A: AMTAC 7.62CQBm for full power = 39.75" 8lb 8oz
    Option B: Rugged Obsidan 9 w/ (5/8x24 adapter & fixed barrel spacer) for subs = 40.5" 8lb 0oz

Thats awesome. I really wish they made that gun to accept AK mags.

I can appreciate mag compatibility however, I’m not an AK guy (“preferred weapon of the enemy...” bias). More importantly for the size & weight form I really don’t see wanting more than a ten rounder, I guess there are poly ak mags now but metal ones are heavy & LRBHO is a nice feature.

How is LRBHO relevant for a bolt-action rifle? Maybe I'm misunderstanding you.

Nice rifle. I have the Ruger one in 300 BLK.

The Mini 30 mag follower is set up for last round open, on the RAR it stops the bolt from going forward and having the bolt operator looking stupid trying to shoot an empty gun... not that has ever happened to me...:innocent0
