voting is not an enumerated right like the 1st and 2nd.

Edit: Regardless, I know what you are saying. Of all the rights, it is always the 2A that gets pummeled.

    Where they send me.
When the socialist social workers get into your life you're in trouble. Seems many adoption agencies are the same way, they may not come out and say so but you may find out years and $10,000's spent that you don't have a child because you own a firearm.

SAF is the ACLU for 2A rights, because the ACLU isn't.

Here's to the SAF. I think I owe them some $$.

My uncle had to do the same thing in New Mexico when he and his wife were fostering.

Seems odd for such a gun friendly state. Yet it's not surprising with the idiots we have in Sante Fe. They have tried to pass BS anti gun laws here recently. We're not safe anywhere from this stupidity.

Yeah, I know. See, it gets me so riled up I can't even think straight.

And just wait until Moochelle finds out he leaves out unprotected bags of potato chips where the unsupervised kid could get to them

From the Maryland Resource Parent Handbook - http://dhr.maryland.gov/documents/Foster Care/ResourceParentHandGuide2016_web.pdf

    Firearm Safety
If resource parents own any firearms, they must store them safely. They must also maintain and license them
in accordance with state and local requirements. Resource parents must keep all firearms and ammunition
stored in the home in a locked room or container that is inaccessible to children. Firearms and ammunition
should not be kept in the same location in the home.

It's just common sense! I mean why give a child to a person who is, by law, not a felon, drunk, or drug abuser, you know, a legal firearms owner.
