Just purchased a Remington Sendero in a 300 win mag. It comes with dies, about 50 pieces of once fired brass, leupold rings/bases, and some loaded bullets. It is an older model Sendero, but in great condition. The owner wasn't sure, but thinks he has shot between 250-300 rounds through it. Total price: $550. What do you guys/gals think??? Good deal??? I pick it up on Sunday so pictures will be coming.

That's a sweet deal. I need to find some like that when I have money to burn.

during the hunting classic basspro was selling a clearanced sako a-7 30-06 for $400. I just plain didnt have the money to responsibly spend on it :banghead: ....stupid priorities...

Yeah, I don't know much about the win mag...I've shot a lot of 308. I have a 300 RUM, but have only put three boxes of ammo through it. Kinda looking forward to the load development stage and playing around with a bigger caliber.

The ones made around the same time as the VLS you picked up from me were normally very good shooters. I think you did pretty well.

Great rifle, they were always to pricey for me. So given that, must have been a good deal.

    About 8 months ago I found out Cabela's in PA had a 375 H&H with a $2000 scope on it going for $800 :mad54:

I was moving at the time, so had no spare money for it.

    As you requested...

    Sorry about the terrible picture....

The front rifle is the 700 Sendero 300 Win Mag. It is wearing a Mark 4 LR 4.5-14x40. The next one back is a Remington 5R .308 with a Manners stock wearing a Mark 4 6.5-20x50. The third from the front is a Remington 700 LS .243 with the 5R stock on it. It has a Nikon 4-16x42 Mil-dot on top. The last rifle in the back is my first "Tactical" rifle I set up. A Savage FP .308 with a Bell and Carlson stock and...you guessed it...a 16x42 SUPER SNIPER! It's a great shooting rifle for the money that I have in it. Anyway, sorry about the delay.
