I aim to please. No pun intended.:innocent0

I gave you all the 10mm, 357 Sig and 22-250 cases I had. I'm scheming on loading 25acp because of all the cases you gave me... What could be next?

We often arrive at the range before daylight and there are dangerous creatures in the Garrett County woods. Heck, 4570inMD has me loading 405 grain booilts that contain silver to ward off werewolves.

Are we talking maybe vampire or zombie prep?

    :lol2:

I saw Sasquatch up there last week, maybe 4570 is looking to score a mountable trophy. If you bag it I ain't helping to drag it.;)

Hooli gets along with most flatlanders. He's mellowed out a lot. And we definitely plan to keep shooting. I have me a new batch of 100, 450 Bushmaster and 60, 45-70 rounds ready for next Sunday. :D

    :omg:

OMG! I just realized 160 rounds is a huge evil cache of ammo. :shocked2:

:secret: Please don't tell anyone! Anyway, most of the cases will be empty again on Sunday and they'll never know...

    :innocent0

Mum is the word. 'Cept just from reading that, my shoulder hurts. :)

    Me too.
4570, are we loading the appropriate ammo to take down Sasquatch?

You know that we are --- with the collection of 45-70s in Hooligan inventory now.

Maybe we need a harness for Hooli to assist in the drag-out once Sasquatch is down.

When I first met the Hooligans about a year and half ago, I had a few of the usual toys and a few boxes of factory ammo. Now, I have over twice as many toys and reload for all of them. Not only are they are HUGE enablers, they are good coaches and mentors. They are better friends though. They have opened me up to way more than the 30-06, .223, and 30-30. As my inventory grows, so does my passion for all aspects of the shooting world. If you would have told me two years ago that I would have a black powder revolver, I would have laughed in your face.

The OP has a serious issue. He needs more calibers to reload for.

Yeah, coming from a fellow enabler that makes great sense and I'll take it as a compliment!

Thanks CombatAK. Us Hooligans are always willing to help. Like it or not, you are a fully fledged Hooligan and we're proud you are. By now you've discovered spending your money is one of the things we do best!

    Hooli is happy!

    That's an impressive list, 730waters.

With this being only your second post since you joined the forum over four years ago, how can the regular forum readers trust it?

No offense intended. Just asking the obvious question.

Well, I started reloading in 1977 and building some of my 1st non standard calibers in Contenders and Encores back then and it grew from there. I am on several other forums under the same name and have been for many years. I have no reason to lie to anyone about what I have done for about 40 years. I own my own company and don't have a lot of time to go on the sites a lot and participate in a lot of discussions. If you ever want to discuss reloading for any of the calibers that I have listed, I would enjoy the conversations with you. I have the pleasure of loading and testing the loads at a range in my yard. If you are ever around Cecil County you are more then welcome to visit.

More input is always great! Didn't question your truthfulness. Just hoping you'd add and share more of your experiences to the MDS community.

If you join in on the forum and gain WC access you'll read plenty about the Hooligans way out in Garrett County. We all reload and have great times together at the range.

When you already reload almost 40 different calibers, adding a couple more shouldn't be a big deal, right? Lately my biggest issue has become finding the space to store components and the time to load the new rounds I want to shoot "next Sunday morning".

Now that I'm into loading 45-70 Govt and 450 Bushmaster to feed my most recently acquired toys, other calibers have taken back seats. Stocking up on components I'll need in the future makes sense, right? (I'm looking for some validation here...;))

Today, my Graf's order from last week arrived. The box was pretty heavy. Along with other reloading stuff I needed, there was more 450BM brass, .452 bullets for the Bushmaster and some Acme .458 coated boolits to try in in my 45-70 loads.

After experiencing this "stock up" urge on newly acquired calibers many times before, is this "urge" normal and routine among veteran reloaders?

    Looks normal to me!

For veteran reloaders hearing the 'ting ting' sound of brass hitting the ground and not being picked will develop a psycotic distraction. Been there when I was heavy into 44 Magnum and someone was dumping factory brass on the ground. Stuff is expensive.

Gold on the ground for sure. And some of us probably didn't get enough Easter egg hunts as a kid. :)
