    I think this is the 50th anniversary classic model (sales gimmick I think), that is why I think they put that big logo there. I rather without it. But I like the checker, make it easier to grip. Overall, it has this classic look. The shop sells it for $354. Seem decent. I am still checking for better deal. BTW - I like the new style carry bag.

    Best rifle manufactured.
    Add a few aftermarket parts to personalize it and perfection in the eyes of its owner.

    Added a red dot at 1 o'clock when something close come into play. Works extremely well.

    I thought there were parts of MoCo where rimfire was ok. Maybe not.

    I will double check tomorrow but no rifles primarily applies to deer. I am pretty confident you can hunt small game with rimfire.

    You can hunt fox with center fire in all counties as well.

    Got some Tech Sights for my 10/22 International. I'll probably get better pics next time I hit the range. Really like the look of them with the Mannlicher stock!

    Wood is wonderful LOVE the Mannlicher. That is now on my shopping list, plastic is well plastic to me. Surprised (or I didn't see) magazines.
    60 rounder here, take about 1/10 as long to shoot them as load them.

    My last post in this thread is here, it was February of 2016. Oh boy have things changed since then!
    Believe it or not the biggest thing (the stock) is still the same, but just about everything else has changed. Mainly, the overall purpose and feel of the gun.
    Instead of being a big dog with a heavy barrel, bipod and scope. It is now the lightest most nimble little 10/22 I've ever owned and an absolute blast to shoot.

    What's gone;
    Bull barrel
    Vortex scope
    Bipod
    Trigger

    What's new;
    Tactical Solutions SB-X barrel, found mine on ebay for cheaper and in OD green to match stock
    Tactical Solutions extended mag release, OD green
    Bushnell TRS-25 red dot
    USA sling
    BX trigger
    KIDD guide rod
    KIDD mag latch plunger
    KIDD bolt handle
    Silencerco Warlock II

    And lastly, what you are all wondering, the weight. It's a damn feather. Removing the bull barrel took off 2 whole lbs by itself!
    New barrel is a tac driver too. Couldn't be happier with my new setup.
