    You should call them. I have purchased complete uppers from them, but it was a long time ago...

    Yeah, looks like a 'typo'. Halfway through the description it becomes a "rifle" instead of an upper.

    Glad to see Stag putting quality complete MD uppers out like this.

    The handguard uses the exact same lockup mechanism as Aero or BA handguards... It's a great design.

    What would be considered a good solid, non boutique, blue collar complete upper? (again, honest question)

    The stag upper linked in this thread is a great example of a solid workhorse upper with all the latest stuff, namely a quality mlok free float rail and mid length gas system. Doesn’t break the bank either.

    To me this is the sweet spot. No reason to go lower but you don’t get a whole lot more for going higher either.

    I’d say this is a great buy.

    Couple this with a basic complete lower for roughly $200 and you’ve got a great rifle for under $800 all in.

    And yes, stag is far superior to BCA.
