Thanks for the feedback. It cleaned up nicely and everything seems tight on it. (And yes, I realize it's not that old.)

I've got some .357 magnum and .38 special ammo on the way and am planning to hit the range next week.

Quick question: I imagine this thing can handle +P .38 special? Or is best to steer clear?

    Thanks

If it will handle .357 Magnum, it will handle .38 Special +P.

Hmm, '70's S&W .357 - that sir is a very dangerous firearm, you may send it to august1410 or myself, and we will thoroughly examine and test the weapon for you, if it's bad off, we will even dispose of it for you - for free of course. :D

.38 Special +P is no issue.

    Now go hit the range!

He is correct, it is a dangerous firearm. I must put it safely with my 1964 S&W .357 Magnum and test them both thoroughly for a period of no less than five years.

    Please send the firearm to:

    Magnums For The Needy
    PO Box 357

To save on shipping, you may also drive down to Calvert Co. MD, and deposit it with my charter location of Magnums For The Needy, it's also known as the Keep Brad Out Of Trouble program. :D

No! Don't shoot it! It should be disposed properly (into my gun safe)

Kidding. Nice piece and you should be GTG. a 70s S&W hardly qualifies as old.
