It's easy. Get an old battery charger. Attach red to the lower. Put clay around the stencil and fill with salt water. I use an old end mill as a sacrifical anode and attach that to the black terminal. Submerge endmill in the water and in 5 minutes it is etched.

I just received a response from Engage to have them engrave an 80% with the Mattel logo and he said it shouldn't be a problem. I got this directly from Carlos.

I like SOLGW but they go out of stock quickly. I will know how these look in a week or so when mine arrives.

I got to handle my new JSE lowers last night. They're really nice, with smooth & thick anodizing. One of mine is part of a matched upper & lower set. The fit between the two is very snug. It takes a bit of force to separate them.

Okay, the cat's eye logo is goofy. But they're great lowers, and they're in stock.

I am interested in getting in on the group buy if it happens. I already have a jig, just need more lowers for more builds. The ones I got last time were from 80-lower and they seem okay.

Nah, nothing to weld, was doing a comparison of the 5D Tactical's jig in which
the Router plate is plastic, "now", they snuck it in shipped it to people, some
ain't happy, same price, then they updated the WEB Page later.

So with that:
5D tactical Jig Plastic Route plate or some form of poly.. skeleton side plates
80& Arms Easy Jig Gen 3 all Aluminum, skeleton side plates
Modulus Arms.... MIA (again) like last time...so don't know what if.??

80% Jig shipped in about 5 weeks
5D Tactical almost 8 weeks or more is the concensus. Have the pre-plastic jig
Modulus Arms...well they are silent like last time...on the "Backorder status" for months.
There was law suit a while ago.settlement...etc.

As far as 80% Lowers if you can catch them at the right time, "back in stock"
$45 and up to the blue sky....pcked up some Colt mag type lowers in 9mm
ain't interested in the Glock,MP5, other type..but YMMV...
gotta get busy..assembling, had other stuff going on almost done with it..
then back to it.
