Adcor apparently just lowered upper receiver prices

Adcor's complete upper receivers are listed on their online store at $1,495 (previously around $1,800). I'm considering finishing one of my Adcor lowers with one of these, so it just got a tad bit easier.

I work with a guy that got laid off from Adcor a few months ago. He said they had been very slow on work the last few months before the layoff and now they are redoing alot of their shop. This may be part of trying to build more business.

Oh and lets use a uber thin Gas Block on a piston rifle too so the gas and set screw can snap the gas block. YAY!

Right on brother. $1,025 +tax for a Colt 6971 from LOU and I'm sure he could squeeze a plastic gun at that price. :thumbup:

Was Adcor an established operation before the Army cancelled their future rifle work in favor of improving the M4? I've got a colleague that bought two Elites. With prices falling and major customer out of money I wonder what their future would be vs. HK or SIG.

The optic looks sort of like an Aimpoint backwards, but I'm not sure it's mounted incorrectly.

Edit: Looks like a Leupold Prismatic.

As for their uppers...meh, I'll pass.

I kind of like the forward charging handle but heck I could get 3 PSA uppers for that price.

It reminds me of my former PTR91SC, the quad rail is like a cheese grater on your knuckles when you rack that forward charging handle.
