I was referring to the post about the claims of a 19 year old who claims he carries in TN on a NH permit. i said nothing about the PA AG.

The question is will Kane attempt to change a SIGNED agreement which allows any holder of a NH permit to carry in PA.

Just to clarify, pre 2013 NH was already have Permit from home state OR any other state. But still had to have a current permit from somewhere.

Right; her issue was that PA residents were "circumventing" PA law by getting the non-resident permits and then carrying in PA, Usually because Phila or other places were denying PA resident permits on the flimsiest of bases.

Rambling One, You have to be looking at the map on the PA Page. Look at the legend on the Map. Those are states that honor PA. NH by law only honors resident permits from the states they honor. PA has a signed agreement with NH. It doesn't state like the agreements from VA, MS, FL, AZ and UT which states PA will only honor those states RESIDENT PERMITS. You can read all the agreements PA has signed by going here. https://www.attorneygeneral.gov/Media_and_Resources/Firearm_Reciprocity_Agreements/

Just read the PA/NH agreement and it couldn't be more plain. Thanks, my friend. As an aside, my UT permit is up for renewal at the end of the year. Seems like ages ago since you walked me through the process and issued my certification. Don

Which has been "fixed" by the PA courts. But of course she didn't bother to change it back afterward.

exactly. The PA court ruled PA residents must have a PA permit. Did she redo the reciprocity agreements to allow NR to carry? nope.

F her. I'll be getting a NH permit as soon as the forms have been redone.

I also emailed the NH SP and asked when the new application will be ready. I'll report back when and if they respond to me.

I used to have one and couldn't renue due to the rule change. Believe it or not, when they first started issuing non resident permits, you just had to send a completed form and something like $26 to get a non resident permit. The permit didn't even have a picture!

Since I am a Texas holder these days, I don't know if I will spend the $100, especially since I am retiring soon. :D
