Clark sights, if still available, will alleviate the less than optimal sight system on the older Rugers. I used them on my Security Six, Redhawk and the SuperBlackhawk. More precise adjustments, sight picture is better. Issue is on the Super Blackhawk it was too bulky for the lines on that revolver...looked out of place. So when I stopped using the Suoer in Hunter’s Pistol competition I replaced them with the issue sights...but I still use the Clark adjustment screw. The Clark sights still reside on the Redhawk...perfect union.
