Clean pet snake?

I know there are instructions included with Boresnakes; which I follow. But...does anyone have any good tips or tricks on keeping your boresnake clean and more durable?

For me, I hang my snake without squeezing it too much after cleaning to possibly keep it more fluffed. Also I use original blue Dawn dish soap for cleaning.

If she doesn’t clean off your bore snake after you finish start looking for a new girlfriend.

Wash it per instructions. Allow to dry. To fluff, I'll throw it in a "lingerie bag" like you get in the detergent aisle of the grocery store and pop it in the dryer on "fluff air" (no heat) for about 10 minutes. Tends to get it to fill the bore again if it's been constricted over time.

If you squeeze and fluff your snake too often you'll go blind.

Stroke your snake in the opposite direction; so you can rile it up properly. For cleaning of course.

I just tie them up in an athletic sock and run them through with the rest of the wash. I could add a joke, but I'm an amateur among professionals.
