Anyone have a Thompson/Center T/CR22

So I was reading articles, and I think THIS is exactly what I've been looking for....Thompson/Center T/CR22 - a very cool 10/22 clone!

I've been keeping an eye on them. I like this Magpul stock they're using, the rear peep sight, and the bolt hold open function with their mags (and compatibility with Ruger 10/22 mags - minus the bolt hold open after last round). There were initial quality control reports from some purchasers. Don't know if these have abated.

Someone on RimfireCentral just posted that there's a $50 rebate on them for purchases starting August 1 ...

Have you handled one? I, personally, dislike the stock. A lot. I love Magpul stocks, but the T/CR stock feels like it was made using the Magpul airsoft polymer and not the regular stock material.

Again, I may be biased.

Haven't handled the stock. Just very pleased with the Magpul stock that I put on my 10/22 Takedown that looks proportionally similar. Didn't realize there was a materials difference with the one on the new T/CR 22.

There may not be, but it feels that way to me. I love the Hunter and backpacker stocks as well.
